I like the idea of sending Christmas postcards instead of Christmas cards. I know that other people do too because there is a nice selection of lovely postcards out there. So why would you want to send postcards instead of cards? I thought I’d list the pros of the idea so you can make a choice if you want to send them.

Each year, we look forward to choosing our Christmas cards. I usually buy a few different styles or a variety set and then choose individual cards for those who are closest to me like my husband, best friends, and my parents. What is your Christmas card style?

Okay, I love candy canes and snowmen and other Christmas trees and other merry symbols of Christmas… but without Jesus Christ being born we wouldn’t even have this holiday. Why not celebrate that idea with Christian Christmas cards? I find that there is no better way to remind people that we are celebrating Christ’s birth than to send them a religious Christmas card.

Do you keep buying new wrapping paper, Christmas cards, and other Christmas supplies new each year? Well before you do that, you should see what you have leftover from last year. If you’re organized this should be no problem. In fact, you may already know what you have.

I know, Christmas may seem like a ways off. But seriously, I’d think about your Christmas cards from now. I know once December hits, I’m often so busy I barely even think about. Choose your Christmas card designs from now. You can even start addressing your enveloped. Once December hits you can pop them in the mail.
