Have you decorated your Christmas tree yet? If not, why not make things extra festive by preparing some of these delicious beverages while trimming the tree? Each year, my family makes it a tradition to drink egg nog. Some years I actually make it – but most of the time I just buy it. Okay, and I spike it with a little brandy, too.

When I was a child we had the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Instead of shopping on Black Friday, my family made it a tradition to spend time together. Actually I think my mother did shop, but I don’t think we as children were awake yet!

I love solving puzzles. I keep a few puzzle books on the coffee table and try to do at least one a day. Word search puzzles are amongst my favorite puzzles to solve. Christmas word search puzzles are some of my favorites.
